Our Story
Rowell Rocks was born in a garage in the late 80s when Marilyn Rowell, living in Brazil at the time, fell in love with the country’s exotic stones. This passion for crystals and minerals was mirrored in the curious European crystal retail market, and importing as the Rowell Trading Company commenced.
Marilyn’s entrepreneurial streak and rock-solid values of honesty, trust, and personal customer service have seen a crystal enterprise grow into a thriving family business, with sons Louie, Max, and Greg Rowell joining the ranks. Louie is head of the Social Media Team, Greg is our chief Crystal Van Driver, and Max, a Director, and is always searching high and low to source you the best crystals at the best prices.
Our first catalogue came out in the early 90’s as we were putting down roots at national trade shows and fairs. The New Age spiritual movement of the 1980s saw massive popularity in crystal healing and huge growth in the demand for our imported crystal products, and our first website went online in 2004.

We pride ourselves on the personal relationships we’ve built with both customers and suppliers over the decades. Many of our customers have been with us for over 25 years, a testament to our commitment to excellent customer service and the trust we’ve nurtured in the crystal wholesale community. For the past 24 years, our Crystal Wholesale Van Visits have brought our products directly to our customers across the nation, a service that has become a beloved part of our business.
